BTI accepts KCET and COMEDK scores for admission to BE courses. Admission to BE will start once the counselling process begins. The counselling will be based on KCET 2024 results which will be announced on May 20. KEA has released the provisional answer key and the final answer key will be out on May 10, 2024 (tentatively). Students can raise objections before the final answer key is released. The last date to raise objections for KCET 2024 is May 07, 2024. COMEDK 2024 exam will be held on May 12, 2024

The college has been affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Karnataka. It has been recognised by UGC as well as Government of Karnataka and has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. The college has been also accredited by NAAC as well as NBA. It has also received ISO 9001:2015 certification. In addition to helping to organise a variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities, the institute also conducts important student-friendly events and activities. The Bangalore Technological Institute courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate level only. There are a total of 6 courses to interested candidates in the stream of engineering in specialisations like Civil Engineering, CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, AI & ML and Robotics & AI. All of the courses at the college are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The Bangalore Technological Institute admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam. The college accepts a number of entrance exams for admission, including COMEDK & KCET for B.Tech courses.
A variety of facilities are available for students at the BTI Bangalore campus as it is spread over an area of 17 acres, including a gym, boys' and girls' hostels, laboratories, a sports complex, transportation services, banking options, a full-fledged library, a canteen, and others. For all tasks related to placement, the college has a dedicated placement cell. BTI can boast of highly qualified and efficient faculty members. There is a nice amalgam of experienced hands and youngsters at BTI. Most of the faculty members are already doctorate degree holders or are on the path to the same. Some of the faculty members have a numbers of paper publications to their credit. The BTI team believes in leaving no stones unturned to bring the best out of their students.
Academic
During the academic year 2010-2011 our students fared extremely well in the first semester VTU exams. The pass percentage of the college (73.33%) is way above the VTU average (63%). The performance of the students can be attributed to their handwork and guidance provided by the faculty members to each and every student.
Extracurricular
We at BTI believe that extracurricular activities are very important for the overall development of an individual. The college conducted a number of onstage and offstage competitions for students during the previous year. The students responded enthusiastically and participated in large numbers. The winners of various events were felicitated on the college day.
Sports
A sport not only helps a student remain physically fit, but also cultivates in him discipline, team spirit and leadership qualities. The college celebrated annual sports day during the academic year 2010-2011, number of indoor and outdoor competitions were held for boys and girls. The students participated in large numbers and winners were felicitated on the college day.
College students also participated in the VTU regional meet held at Sr MVIT Bangalore, during April-May 2011 and as a result of our encouragement and support Jeevitha of IInd semester ECE secured first place in 10km running race.
